A graduate of the 2014 Dalhousie Acting Program, Taylor Olson (he/ him) works in film, television and theatre. Taylor has appeared in over 60 combined feature films, short films and television shows. A seven time ACTRA Maritimes Outstanding Performance nominee, he has acted in numerous feature films such as his own feature film directorial debut Bone Cage, to a number of outstanding performance awards, Dawn Her Dad & the Tractor, Rebirth 8:37, Ariyah & Tristan's Inevitable Break Up, Black Cop, Entropic, Spinster, Your Money or Your Wife, Halloween Party and Hopeless Romantic, for which he won the David Renton Award for Outstanding Performance by an Actor at FIN: Atlantic International Film Festival. He has also appeared in re-occurring roles on TV series such as Sex & Violence, Diggstown, Pure, Mr. D and as Larry in the new Trailer Park Boys: Jail series. On stage, Taylor most recently performed Monster by Daniel MacIvor landing him a Theatre Nova Scotia Robert Merritt Nomination for Outstanding Performance in a Leading Role as well as Best Lead Actor, Best Solo Show, and Outstanding Drama at the 2019 Halifax Fringe Festival.
